About Me
My name is Andrea Decker. I am seventeen years old and a senior at Hilliard Bradley High School. I was adopted when I was 5 months old and now live with my adoptive family. I have about twenty chickens and four goats that my dad raises on our property. Since I was about eight years old, I have played the guitar, teaching myself new things almost every week. For as long as I can remember, I was always playing a sport. I grew up trying every sport I could, but once sixth grade came, I knew soccer was going to be a big aspect in my life. I play it year round, switching between school season in the fall, to club season in the spring, to indoor during the winter. In school, I am involved with some clubs like Jaguar Ambassadors, National Honors Society, and Future Medical Sciences Club. I want to become a nurse and possibly travel the world with that career.
Why I chose this as my capstone...
I chose this experience as my capstone because it has greatly impacted me, how I form new relationships and live my life. Even though I was young when I took this trip, I gained a lot that I will be able to use in my future and has changed who I am.
